Dear Colleagues and Students,
Please find the update regarding the doctoral fellowship applications for the upcoming academic year:
1. Fellowship Links & Administrative Units

2. Application Timeline (Identical for Both Fellowships)
  • Student Submission Period: August 17 (Mon) – September 1 (Tue)
  • Review Process: Student Submission → College Recommendation & Ranking → Handling Unit Collection → Review and Approval by the Office of Research and Development Committee.
3. Key Eligibility Differences
  • NSTC Fellowship:
    • Limited to 1st-year doctoral students who have completed registration.
    • Open to international students (excluding Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau).
    • Funding duration: Granted for 3 consecutive years once approved.
  • MOE Fellowship:
    • Open to 1st to 3rd-year doctoral students.
    • Limited to domestic students (Taiwanese citizens) who are not currently employed full-time.
    • Funding duration: Students must reapply annually.
